Born in Messina in 1974, he showed a great passion for music from an early age. At just seven years old, he began studying the piano, and at nineteen, he started studying opera singing. He graduated from the “A. Corelli” Conservatory in Messina with top marks under the guidance of Maestro Antonio Bevacqua. He later attended the opera interpretation masterclass of Maestro Maurizio Arena.
From 1996 to 1998, he achieved several successes in numerous opera competitions, including the “G. Di Stefano” International Opera Singing Competition. In the following years, he performed as a soloist in Stabat Mater by Astorga, Rise and Fall of the City of Mahagonny by Brecht, Nabucco by G. Verdi, La Bohème by G. Puccini, and Turandot by G. Puccini.
In November 2002, he joined the cast of Notre Dame de Paris by R. Cocciante, playing the role of Frollo in a tour across Italy’s most prestigious theaters. In 2006, he played the lead role in the opera La Città Fantasma by F. Storino at the Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome. That same year, he recorded the song Prenditi cura di me for Gen Rosso.
In 2007, he portrayed Larkens in La Fanciulla del West by G. Puccini. Between 2007 and 2009, he reprised the role of Frollo in subsequent Italian tours of Notre Dame de Paris by R. Cocciante.
At the end of 2009, he founded G.M.A., a singing school that is still active today. On June 18, 2010, he took on the dual role of Friar Cristoforo and Cardinal Borromeo in the premiere of the modern musical opera I Promessi Sposi by M. Guardì and P. Flora at San Siro Stadium in Milan. In the following years, he continued to play a leading role in subsequent Italian tours of the same opera.
From 2013 to 2016, he was the director, creator, and vocal director of the musicals The Prince of Agrabah, Auditions, Jellicle Cats, and The Curtain Falls. In 2014, he co-starred in the film Ballando il Silenzio by S. Arimatea and participated in the full season of the renowned opera festival Italian Opera in Taormina.
In 2016, he played Pilate in Jesus Christ Superstar by A. L. Webber. His concert activity, both in opera and pop music, remains intense and ongoing.
