Born in Capo d’Orlando, Italy, she began her musical journey with a diploma in recorder performance from the Vincenzo Bellini Conservatory, before discovering her true calling in opera singing. She trained under Desirée Rancatore and Maria Argento, refining her technique and interpretation.

In 2021, she won the Vincenzo Bellini International Competition in Catania, a significant achievement that propelled her career forward and brought her to the attention of industry professionals.

Operatic Career & Performances

Silvia has performed in renowned theaters and productions across Italy, showcasing her versatility and depth in both classic operas and contemporary works. Her recent engagements include:

  • Gioconda in Il Segreto della Gioconda by Luigi De Filippi at the Teatro Vespasiano (Rieti) and Teatro Nuovo (Spoleto).
  • Musetta in La Bohème, in a production by Magia dell’Opera, directed by Alfonso Antoniozzi.
  • Giannetta in L’Elisir d’amore, performed at the Teatro Olimpico (Vicenza) and Teatro Comunale (Thiene).

Silvia made her Teatro Comunale di Ferrara debut in the summer of 2023, starring as Zerlina in Don Giovanni by W. A. Mozart. The production, directed by Leone Magiera, featured an innovative Belle Époque circus setting, reimagining the classic opera in an early 20th-century traveling circus. This landmark role placed Silvia among a select group of promising young opera talents, handpicked by Magiera—renowned for coaching legends such as Mirella Freni and Luciano Pavarotti.

The production later toured to Daegu, South Korea, further expanding Silvia’s international footprint.
